ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This lunar piece was inspired by the loss of my Egyptian Mau, Luna. After 15 years of faithful, loving companionship, she had to be put down. She was by my side while I was creating and mixing my music, so my artwork will forever carry her influence and inspiration. Her beauty and regalness will forever radiate as does this piece of art. I created a collection of lunar pieces to help spread a tiny bit of her love and devotion around the world. Enjoy.

Garth Darrach, known to the world as Syotos, is a living testament to the transformative power of the human spirit. His remarkable journey from the depths of addiction and despair to becoming an influential artist and beacon of hope is an inspiration to all who face their own demons. Born into a world filled with dreams and possibilities, Garth's life took an unfortunate turn when he found solace in the grip of hardcore drugs. For an agonizing 3 decades, he spiraled into a dark abyss of addiction, leaving behind a trail of shattered dreams and broken promises. Incarcerated in jail, institutionalized in mental health facilities, and trapped within the confines of drug rehabilitation centers, his existence seemed destined for perpetual suffering. In 2003, the weight of despair became too heavy for Garth to bear, and he reached the brink of oblivion, attempting to take his own life. It was a moment that could have marked the end of his story, but fate had other plans. A glimmer of hope flickered within his soul, igniting a flame of resilience that would guide him toward redemption. Reborn from the ashes of his past, Garth stepped into the world as an electronic music artist. His sonic creations resonated with the raw emotions and untold stories of his turbulent life. Through his music, he painted vibrant soundscapes that spoke to the depths of human emotion, inviting listeners into a realm of catharsis and release. Determined to rebuild his life and find a path to financial stability, Garth resorted to unconventional means. In 2015, he assumed the online moniker Syotos and became a DarkNet MDMA vendor. However, this venture came crashing down when the relentless pursuit of justice by the US Federal Government intervened. Yet, even in the darkest moments, a flicker of hope remained. But Garth's talents were not confined to music alone. A natural-born comedian, Garth channeled his wit and humor into a blossoming presence online. His infectious laughter became a source of joy and inspiration, captivating audiences worldwide. With each punchline, he shattered the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health, boldly proclaiming that recovery and happiness were attainable for all. Garth's salvation emerged through an unexpected avenue: psychedelics. Embracing the therapeutic potential of these substances, he embarked on a profound journey of self-discovery and healing.
