ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I created "Personal Space” in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The semi-abstract images are a visual depiction of encroachment, vulnerability and the associated anxiety that comes with not being in control. As with most of my digital work, the images in this series started out as abstract pastel drawings, which I composed, photographed and then digitally manipulated, using light and suggestion to create form and narrative.
