The basic spirit in IAArt is a concept, an idea that we have. I imagined the woman attentive to vibrations of all origins, who knows how to hear and listen to the noises of the world, the sounds of life. Not isolated under its sound appendage but naturally connected to it in accordance with the singular faculty that women have of hearing and listening. Hearing as a physical faculty is provided by the ear, amplified here by the addition of headphones. Listening is a cognitive, intellectual capacity which gives us the will to seek to understand, the desire to perceive essential sounds and nuances. In the end, the concept evolved without losing sight of the main idea. Adorned, invaded, submerged, strange or even misguided, women have become specimens, creatures without a recognizable story or rather lending themselves to all stories, emanation of a volatile and sometimes obscure imagination. Unconsciously, I believe I am prolonging a very intense and profound experience encountered during a critical situation in a context of intense stress and danger to life. The serial nature of the project which is to bring together 100 representations of female figures, never the same and provided with a common attribute, seems to me a particularly attractive challenge in the context of a collaboration with artificial intelligence by the very fact of the great number.
