ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was inspired by the old Dutch masters for this still life. I hope viewers will enjoy the randomness and uniqueness of this magical image that was conjured through my own AI prompts. There is no other image out there the same as this image. I have been experimenting with AI. It is not a medium I would want to solely use but it can be great fun to use at times. I have used it for protest art and here I have used it to conjure up some still life images using prompts that bring to life a series of unique images that I have also contemplated painting from. It’s great fun to use AI for still life as you don’t quite know exactly what will generate even though you have an idea. It’s a rather magical and exciting process. It’s interesting also to discover less rational and some random and curious objects turning up in the composition. When you check out some of my earlier flower still lives in my portfolio you will discover that they were photographs and a completely different approach. I find it really interesting how AI allows us to think about art in new ways. I love this image of the yellow bird and the vase of flowers. It would look lovely with a black frame in a quiet corner of the home.
