ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The corn Belt, a region of the Midwestern United States led by the state of Iowa in corn production, is regarded as one of the most productive locations on the planet. This fertility, however, has recently been threatened by climate change. This artwork is the first in a series of three that depict the same concept in three different artistic approaches. This artwork, which is somewhat impressionistic in style, will become more abstract in subsequent editions. This is a digital piece that will be printed on 36" × 36" x 0.75" gallery stretched canvas. It comes ready to hang, and I will hand sign it on both the front and back, along with the date and a certificate of authenticity

I am a Honduran architect based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the United States.Back in the 1990s, as an architect, I had the incredible opportunity to work alongside my father, a renowned architect in my home country. We journeyed around the world together to see and learn more about beautiful architecture and art that has existed from the beginning of time. During our travels, I enjoyed visiting as many art museums as possible. My personal favorites were the Del Prado Museum in Madrid, the Louvre Museum in Paris, and the Frida Kahlo Museum in Mexico City.I am a lover of art and architecture history, as well as the styles that have evolved from neoclassicism to modernism, postmodernism, and now the sustainable period. In 1999, I moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and established my own small business decorating interior residential spaces. I began by creating murals and faux finishes for interior walls such as venetian plaster, old world, antique wash, marble textures, and children murals.I currently work as an interior designer among other designers, architects, and service vendor partners.I've had a passion for drawing since I was a child, and after mastering perspectives in design and drawing classes in college, I began painting as a pastime, which has turned into a form of therapy.I am a lover of art and architecture history, as well as the styles that have evolved from neoclassicism to modernism, postmodernism, and now the sustainable period. In 1999, I moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and established my own small business decorating interior residential spaces.
