ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Digital painting of a module traveling into a different dimension, the dimension where the square bows to the graceful, wherein Einstein meets Salvador Dali. On what level of understanding could they meet? What is the module of exchange these two antipodes could produce? And if they could, would they be dancing in the aisle for sheer pleasure to have understood the incomprehensible in collaboration? That other dimension to travel into may not be underestimated. They figured out how to get there. Or to them, all mysterious things become evident? Hello Einstein, Hello Salvador, earth calling! Give us a glimpse, let the skies open up and reveal to us your secrets of the beyond. The secret to the harmony of two opposite poles. This work comes in digital format. As an 'artist original', it is available at the online gallery in a limited edition of 6 that can be ordered in canvas. A certificate of authenticity will be made available if you contact me via this webpage. It can also be ordered as an 'open edition' giclee print on paper on this site. For an NFT version, please consider contacting the webpage.

In Rome, Italy, I was drawing and painting since childhood. When I arrived in New York City with $50 in my pocket, I called a few advertising agencies and got my first job working in the Empire State building. I became a sought-after commercial artist working with Geoffrey Hayes, art director of well-known advertising stints such as his famed Absolute Vodka campaign. My collages of New York City in surrealistic postcards were published and sold by the Metropolitan museum in 1979. I translated my love for the Old Masters into watercolor portraits of their works. On the other hand, my love for surrealism expresses my present stage of introspection in digital works of Surrealistic and Abstract-Expressionistic art. I was photographer Francesca Woodman's boyfriend at the time of her death and I introduce my photo of her as I fused it with my work.
