ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Un-tempered octave scale diagram showing the geometric relationships of the notes on the scale once all the level of tempering have been removed to show the true structure of the musical scale. The sequence progresses from thirds to halves to two thirds to ones and beyond. This is a color plate from my book Music & Geometry.
