Drawing: Ink, Digital on Paper.
This work is from a collection of sketchy drawings which I call Roughlines.
They begin their life as pen and ink scribbles, often on any piece of paper (if I forget my sketchbook). Then - go to layers and end up as inkjet prints.
Absurdity, humor, non-sense and whimsy are my other tools. They are also my survival kit.
I love linguistic ambiguities, overlapped meanings, exaggerated literal translations, deconstructed metaphors.
