ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Acrylic and ink on paper CANSON 50x65cm Abstract Arabic calligraphy for the large letters (random letters, no literary meanings), I used arabic letters as artistic tools. With the thin letters i wrote a poem of Al Maari: العيشُ ماضٍ، فأكرِمْ والدَيكَ بهِ، والأُمُّ أوْلى بإكرامٍ وإحسانِ وحَسبُها الحملُ والإرضاعُ تُدْمِنُهُ، أمرانِ بالفَضْلِ نالا كلَّ إنسانِ ( أبوالعلاء المعري ) Arabic poem talking about honoring parents upon delivery the artwork will be sent rolled up and not framed.
