ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Drawing for me is an exercise of personal and creative inquiry. Guided by this interest and my curiosity in human behaviour, I commenced the task, the ever-developing task of getting rid of everything that I had learnt and rediscovering the creative pleasure of drawing. In my work I tend to use myself as the model and I normally draw myself in very impossible and uncomfortable poses as a symbolism of this vital journey. I become a mere tool in the process of drawing. I let unexpected images appear, they use my personal experiences and I use them as an excuse to connect with my other self and the world. However this is just on the surface as there is not such a thing as other or a separate world. This is the way I draw. This is the way I create my own sense.
