ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A still, paused from an old VCR recording he did on the Beat Generation/Naked Lunch and then drawn into the same moleskin notebook vellum paper that he and Kerouac used throughout their careers. He was all over the map in the interview, but selecting this one frame captured the intensity and wry grandeur of the American movement, and his impact on literature and drug/punk culture that he so well represented.
