ID Sousia is an artist of Korean origin, graduated from the ENSA of Bourges in France. It is in 2019 and as an autodidact that she will identify her own art. An artistic practice with a broad spectrum between interpretations and illusions. A post-modern current, a rupture, an aesthetic dead end where disorientation, strange, absurd and psyche merge to become a current of thought. Far from the saturated art that we celebrate to satiety, ID Sousia takes us into a new dimension. That of the dissolution of an imposed truth, of a repressed truth. A subtle and surreal correspondence of drawing and mental, visual poetry. A projection art where Kafkaesque figures, microcosm and anthropomorphism form its artistic galaxy. The eye is struck by the indeterminate, unpredictable representations where the idea would be to capture its own truth in the irreconcilable visible and invisible. Her technique is developed thanks to the ballpoint pen, the only instrument she uses, allowing a refined drawing, a graduation in the dark and a simplified appearance allowing no recourse to fleeting thought. The artist's currents of influence range from Salvador Dali to Louise Bourgeois via Fred Deux. Her works have made appearances in two famous art journals. La Gazette de Nicole, number 31 (year 2020). Et l'Ampoule, number 9, lampshade editions (year 2021). Her works were selected for 'The MANCHESTER 2020 VR Exhibition' (2021). ID Sousia is one of the finalists of the international competition 'The best artist in the field of abstraction, contemporary art and sciarsism 2021'. To observe, to look at the works of ID Sousia, it is to recover a little of the psychic and silent force which slumbers in us; "Être artiste, c'est prendre un petit bout du monde malade en réparation chez soi" ("Being an artist means repairing the sick parts of the world with your own tools.") Edouard Baer
