Carless #1 Print

'CARLESS #1' is a part of my series of black and white ink drawings. Each drawing in this series is developed, styled or created by way of imagery, sounds and noises surrounding me at the time. This may come from the television, my children playing, over heard conversations or just my observations when I'm in certain situations. This particular drawing was developed when I noticed the amount of trolleys parked up on the streets away from the supermarket. 'Carless' is about all the different uses these trolleys have for people. One of these uses is for an alternative mode of transport. From the homeless, pushing their prize possessions around, to people transporting their purchases home because they can't afford to buy a car.
