ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is another one of my series of crystal flowers. They're fun for me to draw or paint, and I play around with new techniques on some of them. I based thos off of one of the previous renditions of a crystal flower that I drew using Crayola pencils, that one is in a pinky purple colour with the gradient of the petals of light to dark. I didn't want to just copy my old artwork, so this one is in blue.

I've always loved drawing and coloring,and when I was a teenager my eldest sister introduced me to watercolour painting via 2 watercolour classes, because she didn't want to take a class by herself. It was very interesting, and I continued to dabble afterwards. Eventually I got into oil paints, acrylic, and pastels, and moved from paper to canvas, though paper is still my favourite material to use. I have no formal education on making art aside from the classes my sister got me, but I love doing online painting classes to learn more and grow my skills and style.
