Distance Print

Distance... Though distance was there... Distance never stopped hope. Distance had stopped the potential. This piece was a heartfelt one filled with anguish. The distance let 2 souls guide in their own path, all to manage their own world without failure. One side gave hope and meaning within ones self. The other was doing their best to keep ahold of themselves. One side held a deep beast within. A endless well of potential, leaking into the helpers soul. Both unable to fully connect, but allowing their true selves leak into one another gave them guidance to continue on. This piece can be viewed in all 4 angles. Each side holding their own hidden imagine and meaning. Each piece plays within itself to give you a story of what happened to get to this point. This is what my relapse of memory has created. A puzzle of lines guiding together, all to seem like a normal tree branch. There's detail in what you may think otherwise. Completely freehand and made all from myself. There is not a guiding inspiration for this work. I painted a sequence of memories over different time periods. This piece alone took around 5 months of on and off work. Ink allows me to express myself without worry of needing to erase. I hope others can see what my image has been painted to be.
