This is a poster design I drew on Sketchbook and then added special effects to create an illustrative effect. This is a piece of protest art that campaigns against factory farming and the dairy industry. I hope that when the viewer sees this, they will reflect upon the things we take for granted such as milk, ice cream and dairy products and consider how many of these products are marketed to influence us and compel us to eat these products. I hope that the viewer will consider the words, ‘don’t turn a blind eye’ and reflect upon dairy products and consider buying alternatives such as oat milk and almond milk and to even consider going vegan. The repair of baby calves and their mothers is happening every day. Baby calves are separated from their mothers so that humans can take the cow’s milk. The milk belongs to the baby calves. It’s a tragic and very sad industry that profits off the suffering of animals.

As an artist, I am fascinated by the interplay of surrealism and symbolism, weaving intricate narratives that blend the tangible with the intangible. Drawing inspiration from my upbringing in a family deeply rooted in the arts and my experiences traveling through America and Mexico, I find myself interested by the exploration of memory, emotion, and the natural world. My creative process begins with intuitive drawings, evolving into expressive paintings that delve deep into the depths of human emotion. Through a combination of textiles, mixed media, and digital elements, I aim to create works that invite viewers on a journey through a world rich in colour, pattern, and abstraction. Themes of folklore, mythology, and personal experiences often find their way into my work, serving as a mirror of observations, emotions, and convictions. Whether it’s advocating for animals, people and the environment through protest art or capturing the beauty of nature through painting and photography, my art is a reflection of my innermost thoughts and beliefs. With each piece I create, I aim to evoke a sense of wonder and introspection, inviting viewers to explore hidden depths within themselves.
