I am an art enthusiast. My interest spans a wide range of art forms, from painting and calligraphy to interior design to photography and cinematography. We may learn different tools and techniques, but what matters most for successful art creation, in my opinion, is the aesthetic taste of the artist. In painting, I am into the spontaneous ink wash painting style that bases its aesthetic value on the brush strokes, ink tone, and the abstract form of the subject. This is somewhat linked to my interest in Zen. I love beautiful animals, especially the big ones like horses and tigers. They are my favorite painting subjects. But just like any other form of creation, painting needs inspiration; and what influences us most is the thing that is happening around us. So mostly, I paint what touches my heart at the time.
