ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In Japanese, "Hangetsu" represents the half moon. I tried to capture the lasting impressions that the moon leaves on me day after day. I created a series of minimal pieces that celebrate the moon's sense of calm as I studied the subtle changes it makes every day. This artwork belongs to the series, which includes four geometric drawings. I recommend taking a closer look at all of these pieces and considering hanging two or more together.
