Art Description

Drawing: Graphite, colored pencil on Paper.

Part of my series called"Left Hanging in Space"

"Hanging on to the Last Mask" is a graphite and colored pencil drawing, enhanced with gold metallic watercolor.
Be real! They say, what does that mean? Let go of your mask, don't put on airs, get to the point. No matter how authentic we try to be, there is always one more mask that we could shed. Is it vanity or protection?

I look at our culture and try to decipher in imagery what I see.
