ABOUT THE ARTWORK

His illustration speaks more than anything about what is beyond what we see, beyond color and beyond a reality we do not see; it is born mainly from the hope of seeing the future and of expecting better things, a life full of colors and try to see it as joyful as possible This illustration is part of a series of different drawings, with the same size, which seeks, thanks to its figure mismatches, deformation of lines and a choice of a bluish color palette, typical of the latest works of Zoe Lunar, a reflection and introspection of the personal meaning of time, such as that, as subjects of interpretation, we put ourselves in the middle of time and that time influences so much our interpretation of reality. The work is also a combination of means of which watercolor is highlighted to give color to the drawing, the pencil used to give volume to the body The drawing was made on 200 gram acid free cotton paper using Derwent pencils and Winsor and Newton watercolors. The work of art is sent with all the necessary measures for its preservation along the way to your new home.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
