ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I start my artwork by drawing a pencil layout and underlying structure, then I color the drawings with Prismacolor pencils. I drew this from the model. I use my imagination and my creative vocabulary to create the image and the background. I wanted to have control over my line weight and color blending. I’m transferring the simplicity and sensitivity of the moment by creating lighting and softness shadings.This is how I create portraits.
