My current series of works 'ART LINES' explores abstract space, illusion and drawing to create active and minimal line-scapes. Work on paper - available as open edition print. About my process: One of the first drawings after the series of digital works were created. The digital works allowed me to create sketches quickly and helped me formulate the look and feel for this series of line works distinctly. Traditionally, it has always time consuming to draw and paint in lines with traditional mediums and materials, so visualising works in paint has always been a challenge. For me these lines are abstract yet figurative and tell the story of elements intersecting, battling for territories in the composition. Colours represent agendas and personas, their journeys, their challenges, their engagements and their conflicts. The works are drawn by hand in a free flowing expression.

Australia
Australian Artist. Based in Sydney My current series, Art Lines features original paintings, photographic and digital works exploring abstract space, illusion and environmental concepts. These works reference the battle-lines over space, territories and the environment with colour representing cultural personas and agendas. I want to push the mediums I use into abstract forms and retain some inherent message with sub-literal meanings.
