ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is inspired by Tolkien's world and mainly by Minas Tirith. Its buildings inspire awe. I chose the medium of watercolor paper, but without color, for the artwork to be 'eternal': ink does not vanish with time, but watercolor does. The subject matter represents life, will of power, and resurrection: where once stood nothing, now stands a city. Its style is inspired, of course, by the Lord of the Rings.
