ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece is the second in a series of artworks produced by the artist highlighting a negative image of a female nude. Using techniques refined over 30+ years the artist has perfected this highly individual style to produce detailed imagery that forces the viewer to invert their visual understanding of artwork to engage with the work in a new and unique way. The image allows the viewer to seek an understanding of the crispness of the models tattoos contrast against the dark tones of her sensually stimulating skin. By using this unique negative technique the artist has produced an artwork that not only shows how we view the naked female form, but also how we view beauty in the 21st century.
