I had dream of rain which was dream of hope as I live in the parched lands of Southern California. And what best typifies this hope but Arbor Day? In the nude, wearing face masks, in the rain. And that is exactly what I want the viewer to think when he sees my drawing. I use markers because they are an overlooked medium. I live in a small space. They are facile and they best articulate my vision.

I was represented by Newspace gallery in the 1980's. My first show was a take on Forest Lawn called "In The Garden Of Seeing Things." It was reviewed by the LA Times. My next show was "The History of Art in 3-D" in which the viewers saw the works through red and blue lensed glasses. Three of those paintings were sold to the Eli Broad Corporate Collection. One of those works hangs in his offices in Paris. The next series was called "Issues With No Answers" which focused on current events. UCSan Diego had an exhibition of both series. There was a catalogue published entitled "Double Feature" which is available on my Amazon page.
