ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Blur" series presents my very personal way of experiencing the surrounding world, as colours. I draw them with hard coloured pencils, not pastels and they consist of 20 to 30 very thin layers of pigment. The process is an important part of the artwork. I believe the slow and peaceful creative process is reflected in how the finished artwork influences people. The aim of "blurs" is to give you a stop and let contemplate the tiny shades to bring you calm and harmony. Sitting in front and looking at it is like a meditation. "October" is a part of the second approach to "Blurs", created in a totally different, rural area. The titles are linked to the months, reflecting natural changes and their influence on human being.

She covers a blank sheet with very thin layers of pigment, mixes colours, but doesn't hide a stroke. She believes it brings calm to the recipient of artwork.
