Always fascinated by painting as an expression of a "shipwreck" of everyday life, he continues his artistic research by trying to confront the historical avant-garde through a language that is however free from ideologies and judgments. He believes, as theorized by the critic Achille Bonito Oliva, that the dream of art consists in bringing the everyday into a condition of impossibility, where language comes out of the banks of meaning to slip towards other drifts, out of any question about its origin or direction, according to pleasure drifts which also restore the primacy of the intensity of the work over that of the technique.
