With a background in Textile Structures and Fine Art, my artistic journey has unfolded across the UK, Italy, and Spain, where I earned my Masters many years ago. Since then, I’ve continued to develop and refine my practice, drawing on a lifetime of experience. I now live and work in Northamptonshire, England, while also spending significant time immersed in the beauty of Eryri, Wales. Each painting begins either with a spark of an idea or simply the act of beginning - one stroke, a single dab, or the sweep of a paint-filled brush. As the painting evolves, I respond to its changes, letting the process guide me. Acrylic paint is at the heart of my work. In recent years, I’ve incorporated acrylic paint-skins into my practice, creating dynamic, textured conversations on canvas. My studio, a light and airy space overlooking a brook, a public square, and a historic church, provides endless inspiration. It’s a place of warmth and charm, perfectly suited to a creative life shaped by decades of exploration and discovery.
