ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Based on the Queen of Copes from Tarot. The Queen of Roses rethinks about love and sees it as a rose and its torns. She knows there is no happiness without the moments of sadness and she is not unhappy about it. Loving is aceptance, love is fair and patient. But only loving is not enough. This piece was originaly drew on paper, with indian ink and watercolors. I wanted to explore the digital coloring so i worked on it on Paint Tool Sai too and got a few variations. I've been drawing skeletons for a while, trying them dressed up as queens, fairies, and some other poses based on Tarot cards.
