Rebirth Print

‘Rebirth’ was inspired by the prompt: new life and parenthood. When thinking of new life my first idea was to do a family portrait which I have a familiarity with from my work doing commissions. After taking a step back I reconsidered and thought to work on a more abstract focus within the realistic portrait lens. The framing with leaves to reinforce the idea that it birth is just simply part of the earths want for regeneration and not as spectacular in the grand scheme of things but on an individual level it’s this magical thing that’s causes a great deal of stress while filling individuals lives with a great amount of love. So it should be the celebrated. The floral tattoos are a superficial addition to appreciate the process as we appreciate pretty things in nature. The hands are but to celebrate not only bring new life but life in general but also to remember the two beings coming to together to create life and love.
