ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I drew this art piece during a tough time in my life, and is a particularly special sketch for me as it signifies my start of finding my light at the end of the tunnel, hence its title 'Taste of escape'. I suffered from tics and felt tormented by my own mind and physical inabilities; in a quest to escape my reality I turned to sketching to show what I wanted to feel; a woman embodying her physical freedom and joy within her own body, she has broken free from all constraints including that of her clothes and elicits the glow of her own harmony.
