Urban spaces are used like transperencies of societies sensitivities which are filled with klischees, prejudices and learned roles. People are feeling strange, isolated and lost there. there is a gulf between the protagonists and the background, where all the tension meets in a standardised world.Topics like gender rolls, politics, medial control and cultural differnces got more important since she travelled to Tokyo or Shanghai. In her work she tries to bridge the gulf between the different world pictures and shows the commonalities of both- east and west. Her critical request will be found in every single artwork, She says, she doesnt like to make beautiful art , she wants to make the people think about her work and the topics she shows, and she wants to touch them in a different, strange way.
