Born 1946 in Hampstead, London UK, Alisha Sufit currently lives and works in north London dividing her time between several creative disciplines. She has been drawing and painting since she was a small child and has produced a number of works in various drawing media in addition to paintings in oil and acrylic. She can be described as a post modern surrealist, an admirer of Henry Moore and Edward Burra, Picasso and Magritte, to name a few. She is also a singer songwriter, the lead vocalist, songwriter plus guitar player with the 1972 Magic Carpet band. As well as visual art, she continues to write and record music.
