ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The work "half naked" was created on coarse-grained, structured paper. The artist mixed charcoal, acrylic and pastel chalk and deliberately put the colored focus on the left side. Due to the strongly shimmering acrylic paint, the work changes its color depending on the influence of light. The title "half naked" refers to the deliberate use of color on the right side of the body. Because the left side of the woman's body lights up in color and the right side appears colorless, in black and white, the right side appears bare, almost naked. The work is framed under museum glass with a black aluminum frame.
