I am Andranik Avetisyan. I was born in Gyumri (The Republic of Armenia) on 28 December 1968. I am an Armenian artist, business man, collector of art works. The main subjects of my works are life, man, human relations, space, beginning, what is the art. I am really glad that I am the first man in the world who created a picture from a real spider web. I noticed the spider web in the corner of the window in my studio. Then a great idea came to my mind to create a picture from a spider web.And I began to study the life of the spiders and the structure of their web. After that I began to breed the spiders and to use their webs in order to create the pictures. (Andranik Avetisian (Ado) says: “Spider web, in nature is a picture of energy making a connection among all the objects in the universe“. You can see Аrtist Andranik Avetisyan's Ado works which are made of cobweb only in Gyumri's Art Gallery Cobweb. He is a founder of these cobweb works and the only artist in the world who creates works of art by a natural cobweb. He noticed the spider web in the corner of the window in his studio. Then a great idea came to his mind to create a picture of a natural cobweb. And he began to study the life of the spiders and the structure of their web. After that he began to breed the spiders and to use their webs in order to create the works of art which brought the artist the fame quickly in the world. The cobweb is the weapon of survival for spider and for man the brain carries out this work. Cobweb is the picture of the work of the man’s brain. The main subjects of his works are life, human relations, energy, space, and beginning. In 2017 he took part in International contemporary art exhibition in Cannes, France and won the“ New Talent ” prize.
