ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This mixed media artwork is made on sturdy 400 gr paper, this is specially made paper for mixed media work. The artwork comes directly from my studio, straight from my drawing board so it is not framed. It is well packed and shipped in a box. The dimensions of the artwork, the daydream Autumn I itself, are ca.11,5 w x 18 h centimeter and the total paper of the artwork is ca. 24,5 w x 35 h centimeter. These colors, among others, have been used and are closest to the colors used: white #FFFFF, yellow #FFFF00, lightgray #D3D3D3, darblue #00008B, sienna #A0522D, black #000000, peachpuff #FFDAB9 and levis darkbrown #4d362e.

I was born and raised on Ameland, one of the islands above the Netherlands. As a child I was incredibly inspired by nature, forms, shapes, the lovely landscapes and the beautiful skies above the island. Mijn inspiratie komt uit de natuur, het eiland waar ik ben geboren en opgegroeid, de geuren en kleuren van de zee aan de noordkant en het wad aan de zuidkant. Ook de oneindige horizon, de ruimte, mistige weilanden met ochtenddauw, de duinen en het strand. Wanneer de zeedamp opstijgt, wordt het eiland een mystieke verschijning. Al deze indrukken, dagdromen en inspiratie vertaal ik veelal naar abstract werk.
