ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This playful science/ art print created by Wyllie celebrates men right down to their cells and DNA! It mixes the ‘family jewels’ metaphor with reality. It shows jewels adorning a scientific drawing of testis cells and X ray DNA gene expression micro arrays (the plastic film from scientific research) to create a scintillating artwork. 'I have been inspired by scientists research discoveries and created artworks during a two year residency at a DNA research laboratory at University College London'. I hope collectors of art enjoy these richly coloured contemporary abstract art pieces which are underpinned with scientific research and have authentic personal meaning.
