ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This is one of many in my hybrid art collection. It is a combination of my original painting 'Lady Hummingbird' and the use of software creating the altered image. Lady Hummingbird was dreamt up in my mom's secret garden. A mini Eden where hummingbirds come to during the summer months. Over the course of my time here in the East Kootenay, I have had the great fortune of many magical interactions little winged creature. I went with a female form, though unrecognisable, she first appeared in a mural I painted several years ago. In this case I felt she deserved another frame in my ongoing paintamentary, and was definitely inspired my by moms green thumb magic.
