Oil painting feeds my soul, emotions and impressions. When I am creating all my energy is converted to colours and abstract forms more or less geometrical. I am always looking to recreate the beauty that I see and feel. My process requires patience and concentration. I love pulling elements from my inspirations and working them into shapes and colourful spaces. Swirls, dots, curls and lines add elements of depth and excitement. My imagination guides me in my colour choice and composition. In each painting I work toward a greater harmony. The idea behind my work is to share strong sensations. The feeling of losing oneself in a work of art is a human necessity. I believe that being surrounded by bright alluring colours can influence our way of being and way of life. Colours can nurture our spirit and give us energy. Like Kandinsky wrote, “Colour is the keyboard, the eyes are the hammers, the soul is the piano with its many chords. The artist is the hand that, by touching this or that key, sets the soul vibrating automatically.”
