(*67) Architect and Designer. I'm an observer of the world’s beauty. My work focuses on highlighting the positive aspects of life. Even when the day is cold & grey, and there is things to worry about - those inner images, hopes and dreams remain. The randomly created color patterns open exciting new possibilities, like discovering hidden gemstones. While many of the combinations (at the push of a button), are simple or ordinary, suddenly one reveals a concept of surprising magic and emotional depth. These compositions have the advantage of creating something entirely new, free from external inspiration or imitation. The approach allows for a sense of lightness and a non-structured, minimalist form of expression that still adheres to a creative process. In today's society, the guiding principles revolve around performance, style, prosperity, and consumption—a reality mirrored in advertising everywhere. My new series 'Billboards for the Uncool" shifts the focus to values that truly matter for a fulfilling life: reason, modesty, and restraint. I only create unique pieces - instead of producing a series, I prefer to discover surprising new gems and try new concepts. see also 'danielwave' in every webbrowser ----- Some work and concepts : -1995: IKEA as a hotel. A successful project at ETHZ. -1999: 3D real-time passenger info system for Zurich airport. (Presentation). The realization of 3d games in VRML for an internet company. Pioneer in Macromedia Flash / VRML / Renderings -2000 Design + construction of a loft bed. Design + realization of hanging lamps for an architectural office. -2000: Concept for new Stralsund Sea Museum, Architectural competition, 2nd price. -2001: 'Satellites of reality': Art concept for unused subway tunnels in Berlin. Competition. -2004: Onlineshop concept for typical Swiss products - realized, meanwhile sold: -2008: New concept for dance events, manifest with 20 points. Later realized partly in events. -2009: Concept and online platform for a really fair insurance. -2014: Design + construction of 2 double beds on different levels. -2015: - Own watch-brand. 3 Series of unique watches. -2018 opening of an architecture office in Basel, Switzerland ----- How would the Color code for feelings, ideals, and persons look like? The software for random color graphics was developed in 2004 in my web design company 'subwave Internet'. Version 1 was available for many years to download.
