The Fossil Series explores the 21st century society, particularly mass media pictures, advertising environment and contemporary propaganda. This pictures is based on halftone poster and magazine photos. Advertising photo is redrawned with softwares to make it grow in large scale prints on canvas. From infinitely small to infinitely large, Ben Spider try to transform the world emptiness into absolute sense, looking for links between fake and real, insignificance and meaning, destruction and creation, ephemeral and eternal.
