A Germ of an Idea that Turned into a Dream that Died in the Night ll - Limited Edition of 10 Print

I'm an Irish artist. Born and raised in Athlone town but have lived in Dublin City for many years now. I am from a family of creative people including my mother who taught me about drawing and painting. Just by watching my mother draw and paint, and thanks to a beautiful little box of oil paints I received as a Christmas gift when I was 10, - over the years painting and drawing has become an important form of expression for me and I would say is intrinsic to who I am. I had to leave formal education at 16 years old. But my informal education has been comprehensive and broad in scope and difficulty. As a mature student I was awarded first prize in an international scholarship program competition for my original artwork in digital media, run by Escuela DaVinci Buenos Aires -primera esciela de arte multimedial . I feel like I should be writing this in the third person to allow for a more professional touch, but she just couldn't bring herself to do it!
