Art Description

New Media: Digital, Pencil, Ceramic, New Media on Paper.

From the series entitled Equatorial Epiphany which was inspired by a visit to British Guiana as part of a delegation of artists representing Barbados at Carifesta, 2008. The inspiration was inevitable - It was the closest I had ever been to either rain forest or the equator! "Spontaneous" is a good word to describe the unfolding digital process which was eye-opening in ways that are best described by the resulting work!

This piece begins to suggest forest life, preserved from modernity by its remote and ancient location.
