This is a painting I created using the app Procreate on my Ipad. I painted this based on a photo I took of these crazy, beautiful peppers at my local farmers market. Nature produces the most amazing colors! And, delicious.

I'm an artist working from Menlo Park, California. I paint mostly in oils, on canvas, paper and metal. I am currently working on a PASTRY SERIES WHERE MY CANVASES ARE OLD COOKIE SHEETS with years of kitchen history baked right in, and used trays. I also paint old neglected trucks, boats and machinery--I AM DRAWN TO THEIR BEAUTY AND ACHING NOSTALGIA. I work in plein air doing landscapes of the enchanting and varied vistas in Northern California. I do the occasional portrait. My favorite artistic pastime is sketching people.
