ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Aspen Grove Lake" was inspired from scenes of the Western Slope in Colorado, where I live. Specifically, I combined aspens from Grand Mesa Lakes and mountain peaks/lake from Maroon Bells. The green rolling hills are from Crested Butte. Originally, I had not added the aspens but I am glad I decided to place them into the scene. Aspens are a unique part of the Colorado landscape. Step into the beauty of the Western Slope! This artwork is stretched on a wooden frame with painted sides and wired - ready to be hung. This piece is not framed.
