"51 Shades of Grey" - is a modern pop art portrait of a powerful woman. She is looking straight at you, determined and intriguing. I was born in Israel and I live and creates in my studio near Tel-Aviv. I always loved design, painting creating and surround myself with art. After having my 3rd child I decided to make a major change in my life, I left my job as a lawyer and turned to practice art in a full-time job. I studied art and painting in Israel’s high academy for arts – The Midrasha. In addition, I expanded my expertise by attending some individual courses, including a unique inspiring workshop in Italy, after which I opened my own studio. I love to paint colorful paintings using oil paints on large canvases, and in my personal creative journey I have developed a painting technique of color patches, which I paint spontaneously in a way which every patch and color leads to another. The majority of my works are portrait paintings. Portraits of well-known figures, both historic and contemporary, as well as general portraits and commissioned self-portrait works. When I paint portraits, it is important for me to create eye-contact between the image and the viewer, believing that only this approach can connect a viewer to a portrait painting. I believe in celebrating life and get inspire from interesting and colorful people. That leads my work and my paintings, to reflect joy, smiles, optimism, colorfulness, beautiful look and good vibrations. I can describe my painting style as modern, colorful, and with touches of pop-art. Using my work, I wish to bring colorfulness, excitement and emotions to people hearts and walls. My paintings can be seen in exhibitions and galleries mainly in Israel, and in other locations all over the world.
