***THIS ARTWORK IS ON EXHIBITION UNTIL 13th APRIL*** Small panels paintings on wooden core boards with a thickness of only half an inch are quite new in my oeuvre. The main feature of the work —the tree in a thousand years—is done bare-handed, without brushes. The house of old naturalist Peter was enchanted, a mystic woodsman guarded the gate to his magic garden, the Nightingale of the East was singing beautifully either by day and night. The most magnificent sunflower of the village was glimpsing over the fences edge with moving blossoms. A moderate, almost self-effacing breeze explored the grasses and twigs, the sound of it’s rustle painting images of roses and oat, raspberries and wall barley. The healthiest tree of all worlds, ginkgo biloba, cheerfully welcomed visitors and passersby. She was the last to fall the day when love couldn’t protect the place any longer, and the motors and the concretes came... Well, parables have no end, and to envision the good is knowledge, challenge, and mission of my art. Breakdown and silence are overcome by a tree in a thousand years. Among many other places, this work with it’s critical story but positive outlook towards a strong and good ending would be wonderful as a first piece of art in a teenager’s room. With an inlet hanger applied, it can be placed directly—without spacing—at the wall.

Germany
Christian Kabuß is an internationally established German artist and musician. He studied Medicine at the University of Rostock, then went on to Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia and Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design Budapest to practice Fine Art. The artistic language within his paintings is deeply linked to a phenomenological approach to bodiliness, the freedom of subconscious artistic creation, and the theoretical and practical considerations of Design. Kabuß has exhibited in Germany and abroad. His works are present in regional, national and international collections. It is his aim to work as honest as possible, and he tends towards imagery, which is embedded in Lebenswelt, and sound. As a pianist, he performs small intimate concerts. His music is soft, sometimes freely improvised and portrays a sense of a parallel-world. Exhibitions in Italy, Sweden, Germany, China, and Japan.
