ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a painting of my city, Kolkata. The city of joy and emotions. This is a painting of a hand-drawn rickshaw, which is pretty obsolete now but still you can have a sight of it in the alleys of the city. The building behind the rickshaw is also old, probably from the colonial era. The sight of these nostalgic elements keeps the essence of the city alive. The painting has a thin white border, but the description only contains the actual size of the painting. This is an Acrylic on Canvas work, finished with gloss varnish.
