An Awareness of Whimsical Thoughts Print

Thoughts, like aquatic creatures lurking and emerging from the depths of the subconscious mind, rise upwards in waves from the deep, to surface and be revealed by the light of consciousness. The reflecting mind is vaguely aware of the steady flow of nascent thoughts as it looks in on itself, casting a light into the churning scores of thoughts and ideas below that vie with one another to rise to the surface of conscious thought and, thereby, propagate their kind through communication. Many challenges and obstacles lie in their path, and many fledgling thoughts will not survive to make it to the surface, to where they may escape through expression. For those that do not thrive, their remains fall once more below to the floor of the subconscious, to where their elements will be assimilated, recombined, reincorporated, to be the constituent elements of and be reborn as the next hopeful generation of nascent thoughts.
