About The Artwork

A painting with a rather complex and dynamic figurative scene. There are several characters and animals, but the protagonist is undoubtedly Apollo sitting on a horse in the opposite direction. As the title of the work suggests, Apollo is having a lot of fun, a little less the boy who holds the horse and struggles to keep it up. Then we see a woman courted by a man on the left side, on the same side above we see the bullfighter with his eyes closed and his sword raised as if to greet and cheer Apollo. There is another girl, blonde and beautiful as well, who flies on the back of a swan and tries to give a love letter to Apollo. Under her feet though, there is a prince, who has fallen and crushed to the ground. Here we are, another fantastic story in the typical Siviglian style, a strange and surreal dream. A dynamic and fun painting with warm colors such as the orange background and strong contrasts that make it a highlight for every place to be shown in.

I was born in 1982 in Salerno, Italy, where I grew up as well. I visited the Art Institute "Filiberto Menna”. In my teenage years I started as a street artist, using sprays to express myself upon the walls of my home town. In 2008 I went abroad and spent two years in Spain, where I actually started to paint on canvas. 2010 I went back to Italy and lived in different cities, like Milan, Salerno and Rome.
